La expansión de carreras de posgrado en Educación en Argentina

Abstract

This article describes the expansion of the graduated level universities from the field of Education in Argentine, from 1995 until april 2008, trought information about levels, modality of management of the universities, geographical distribution, performance levels, fields, students, students graduated and number of degfended theses, particulary PhD theses. It realizes a synthetic analysis of the precedents of this expansion, to initiate a research work of the tradition from the graduated level in this field. for the elaboration of this work there consulted documents of the National Commission of Evaluation of Universities (CONEAU), listed of thesis, statistical information and other institutional documents.
