Academic modernizing in times of political radicalisation: Education specialists, technitians or technocrats
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article intends to interpret perspectives and experiences that academic groups of Educational Sciences of the National University of La Plata (UNLP) supported with reference to the education of students during the first years of 1970s. The proposals elaborated to reorient study plan reforms and the meanings assigned by participant actors are focused from a micro social analysis. The findings of the case studied help us understand the ways in which positions were politicized in a progressively radicalized social and politican scenario. It was possible to identify reformist postures inscribed in a modernizing line coexisting in tension with the ones of other sectors that would imipugn them associating them with projects that, to them, reinforced the political and cultural dependence ot the country.
